Extended work hours to install bridge girders

Girder installation for the flyover bridge at Highway 8 will be ongoing this month (February 2023). Once the steel girders are in place, they will be bolted together. This activity cannot be completed during windy weather, nor can it be paused once it has begun.

Crews and lighting will be on site outside of typical working hours while this work is occurring.

These are the last girders being installed on the South project.
