UPDATED: South Project Construction Crossings

Highway 8

This year there will be significant construction activity on the Highway 8 / Stoney Trail interchange and surrounding area for associated work, including stormwater and utility infrastructure.

The signalized construction crossing will be person-operated and used as needed during work hours. Traffic will be monitored when the crossing is in use to minimize delays. Drivers should expect intermittent stops.

17 Avenue S.W.

Temporary traffic signals have been installed on 17 Avenue S.W., just east of 101 Street S.W, to allow construction vehicles and equipment to cross north-south.

Old Banff Coach Road S.W.

Temporary traffic signals have been installed on Old Banff Coach Road S.W., between 89 Street S.W. and 101 Street S.W., to allow construction vehicles and equipment to cross north-south.
