Pile driving for the future 17 Avenue S.W. interchange is anticipated to start near the end of May 2021 and continue for approximately one month (late June).

Pile driving involves a pneumatic (air) hammer striking steel piles, which creates a repetitive pinging or hammering sound. Residents can expect increased noise and some vibration, which are expected to be minor and cease once piling is complete.
