UPDATED: South Project Construction Crossings

Township Road 242

A crossing point has been set up on Township Road 242, between Lower Springbank Road S.W. and 101 Street S.W., to allow construction vehicles and equipment to cross north-south. The crossing will be controlled by flaggers and remain in use until mid-July 2021.

Frequent, short traffic stops can be expected and the crossing will be monitored to ensure no significant delays are occurring.

17 Avenue S.W.

Temporary traffic signals have been installed on 17 Avenue S.W., just east of 101 Street S.W, to allow construction vehicles and equipment to cross north-south.

101 Street S.W.

Temporary traffic signals have been installed on 101 Street S.W., just north of 17 Avenue S.W., to allow construction vehicles and equipment to cross east-west.

Old Banff Coach Road S.W.

The signalized construction crossing on Old Banff Coach Road S.W., between 89 Street S.W. and 101 Street S.W., will now be controlled by flaggers. The crossing is expected to be in use until the end of August.
