Tree and Brush Removals

Tree and brush removals in two areas within the Transportation Utility Corridor (TUC) will take place the week of August 23. The removals are required for utility installations and to make space for semi-permanent stockpiles of fill material. All work will be completed in accordance with the Migratory Birds Convention Act, 1994 and the Alberta Wildlife Act (GOA 2000). Prior to removals proceeding, a biologist will survey both areas for nesting birds and other animal habitats.
